Gallery & Review: 88Rising at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, TX 10/21/18

The 88 Degrees and Rising Tour came to Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas on a Sunday night.  This tour has a line up of very talented musicians such as Don Krez, Niki, Higher Brothers, Rich Brian, Joji, Keith Ape, Kohh, and August 08.  On this tour, the artists are all very interactive with the audience. They bring incredible passion and energy to the stage and make sure everyone has the time of their lives.

Artist Don Krez was the first to hit the stage.  He started the show off with some popular music from artists like Post Malone, payed his respects to artists who have passed, and performed some of his music for the audience.  He had the whole crowd pumped and ready for the night ahead.

August 08 was next to go on.  He played a few songs, including his song "Funeral," and had the room lit up with flashlights from the audience.  The crowd clearly loved his energy and were left wanting more.

Hip-hop artist Kohh hit the stage and the fans started screaming.  He was jumping around on stage for his entire set and brought some energy that this venue has never seen before.  The audience was sad when he had to leave the stage but was still thrilled for what they knew was to come.

The female artist of the tour, Niki, brought her beautiful vocals and kick-ass energy to the stage.  Everyone in the venue fell in love with her.  She played her song "Warpaint" and everyone was singing along.

The lights went out and everyone started chanting for Higher Brothers. When they hit the stage, they had each person in the audience singing and dancing.  Easy to say this band was a fan favorite of the night.

Rich Brian had the crowd in a loud uproar.  Everyone was so happy to see him live.  He played many songs, including his hits like "History," "Cold," "Glow like Dat," and "Dat $tick."

Joji brought something different to the stage that the fans loved.  Riding onto the stage on a scooter, he had everyone in the audience smiling.  Every person in the venue loved the show he put on.

The night ended with fans chanting for an encore.  Their wish came true as all of the artists came to the stage to sing a few songs together.  They left the stage and the house lights came on.  The security team started handing out the setlists to lucky fans, and the very last setlist was about to be handed out when they noticed one of the fans crying at the front of the barricade overwhelmed about seeing her favorite artists.  They walked up to her, shook her hand and handed her the last setlist, making her night even more amazing.  Everyone had a great time at this 88Rising concert, and I'm sure most would agree that they'd see this tour again in a heartbeat.
