Matt and Kim To Stop In Arlington, TX Sept. 8th For Fall Tour

Indie-electronic duo Matt and Kim are currently on the second part of their 2018 tour, which will stop in Arlington at Texas Live this Saturday, September 8th, as well many more cities in the central/east US.

Set to play songs from their latest album Almost Everyday as well as a healthy smattering of older favorites, your stop on this tour won't be one to miss. The Brooklyn-based musicians, Matt Johnson (keys) and Kim Schifino (drums), recorded the new album during Kim's recovery from an onstage injury which had forced the duo to suspend performances for a year. It features guest vocals from  artists like Mark Hoppus (blink-182), Kevin Morby, Santigold, SWMRS, Flosstradamus, and King Tuff. You can stream Almost Everyday here.

In case this isn't enough to convince you to show up to the tour, the duo have even won the mtvU Woodie Award for "Best Live Performance." Their energetic live shows are what many know them for. Along with performances on talk shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, they've embarked on sold-out headlining tours across North America in the past, and have blown away many a festival crowd.
